And the point about darkness has nothing to do with songs about darkness but the dark side of the scene. If you didnt or dont think there was a LARGE dark side in the wings, you weren't there or blinded by the "Peace and Love" on the few occasions you caught a show.
Ask anyone who lost loved ones to dope, drink or recklessness of all kinds which the scene heavily ignored in the mantra of "Freak Freely".
